finish. It is covered with 8 mm clear polycarbonate which has a UV layer co-extruded onto the sheet. It provides an 82% soft diffused sunlight which results in lush, green
plants. The covering allows high light transmission, tensile strength and flame retardancy. The greenhouse comes with gasketed bar caps to make assembly simple while providing
strength for the structure. The greenhouse is made with nothing but the highest quality components.

This greenhouse was designed to be built by a homeowner not a builder and can be assembled in a day. It can also be easily disassembled if you move. The greenhouse

aluminum swinging door with a latch that can be locked. The swinging door affords an opening of 3' by 6'-6" for easy entrance and exit. You can easily open the two roof vents and the doors when temperatures rise, giving you needed cross ventilation. There are
many accessories available to customize your Hideaway: benches, shade cloth, hanging basket clips, circulating fans, shelving, awning windows, solar powered vent operators, etc.

Is this a greenhouse kit?
Yes, the house is all precut, pre-drilled and ready to assemble. Assembly time is
relative to a customer's ability (but average is approximately 6 to 8 hours). Complete assembly instructions are included.
Can this greenhouse be moved?
Yes, it can be taken apart and moved. This house is considered portable.
Does the Hideaway need to be heated?
If it is to be used on a year round basis, supplemental heat is necessary to keep the temperature above freezing.
How should it be heated?
Gas, electric, or radiant heat are all possible heat sources depending on what is most accessible and economical for the customer.
What colors do the frame come in?
The frame comes in white and green. The cost is the same.
What sizes and prices are available?

What is included in the basic price?
The frame, the 8 mm double-wall covering, all necessary hardware (excluding
ground anchors), double slide door, and two manual roof vents.
What accessories are available?
Available accessories include benches, exhaust fans, shade cloth, solar powered vents,
basket clips, and many others. Call for more information.
How does the Polycarbonate hold up to weathering and specifically, hail?
The 8 mm polycarbonate is manufactured and warranted by Replex. It is 200 times stronger than glass. It has a 10 year warranty against breakage caused by normal
weather and against the UV protected surface of the sheet. The sheet is warranted for hail up to 3/4" in diameter.
Will the polycarbonate yellow?
The polycarbonate has a UV coating on one side of the panel to prevent yellowing.
Reflex warrants the polycarbonate against yellowing for 10 years.
What is the light transmission of 8 mm polycarbonate?
The light transmission is 82%. Replex also warranties the light transmission for 10
years. The sheets shall not decrease by any more than 6% from their original value.
Does the Hideaway need a foundation?
No, it does not require a concrete foundation. The customer provides a 2" X 4" or 4”
by 4” treated wooden frame, anchored to the ground, that the greenhouse sits on.
